What we collect, and what we do not

Holistic SEO ("Holistic", "we") operates holisticseo.ca. This page explains what information we handle and why. We advise nonprofits on privacy-respecting measurement, so we hold ourselves to the same standard.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you submit the contact form we receive the name, email address, organization, website and message you provide. We use it to reply to you and, if we work together, to administer that engagement. Nothing more.
Analytics. We collect aggregate, consent-aware usage data such as pages viewed, referring source and approximate region. We do not use third-party advertising pixels on this site, and we do not build advertising profiles or sell data to anyone.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information, including IP address and user agent, for security and reliability.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not use your data to train machine learning models. We do not place advertising trackers on this site.
Legal basis and retention
We process contact form submissions on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry. Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months, after which they are deleted. Client records are retained as long as required by Canadian tax and corporate law.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of processors to run this site and our business, including our hosting provider, our form delivery provider and our email provider. Each processes data only on our instructions.
Your rights
Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial legislation you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@holisticseo.ca and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
This site does not require cookies to function. Any analytics storage respects a declined consent signal and is limited to what is needed to understand aggregate traffic.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects you directly, tell you.
